\n\tMartin Short<\/a> has postponed his comedy tour with Steve Martin following the death of his daughter.<\/p>\n

\n\tKatherine Short, whom Short adopted with his late wife, Nancy Dolman, died Monday at age 42<\/a>. She died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to the Los Angeles coroner.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tAll February dates for \u201cThe Best of Steve Martin & Martin Short\u201d have been postponed, and it\u2019s unclear when the tour will resume. Short and Martin\u2019s show was scheduled to commence on Friday at Milwaukee\u2019s Miller High Life Theatre, with another show on Saturday at the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis. <\/a><\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cDue to unforeseen circumstances,\u00a0Steve Martin & Martin Short\u2019s show, originally scheduled for Friday, February 27th in Milwaukee, has been postponed. Tickets will be honored for a future rescheduled date,\u201d reads a notice on the Milwaukee venue\u2019s website<\/a>. The Orpheum\u2019s website<\/a> has a similar message.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe duo has tour dates set through October<\/a>; their next stop on March 13 at Washington, D.C.\u2019s Dar Constitution Hall does not currently have a delay notice<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tKatherine Short graduated from New York University with a bachelor\u2019s degree in psychology and gender sexuality studies in 2006, then earned her master\u2019s in social work at USC. She worked at UCLA\u2019s Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital before going into private practice, according to\u00a0People magazine<\/a>. Short and Dolman, who died of ovarian cancer in 2010, also shared two sons, Henry and Oliver.<\/p>\n
