Pictures<\/p>\n<p>It was rumoured, and now it\u2019s official \u2013 Christopher Nolan\u2019s \u201cThe Odyssey\u201d and Denis Villeneuve\u2019s \u201cDune: Part Three\u201d will be taking all North American IMAX screens upon their releases in July and December, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>IMAX held its February 2026 investor presentation today and seems to confirm prior reports (via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/imax\/comments\/1req82x\/imax_release_slate_from_the_q4_investor_report\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Reddit<\/a>) that both titles will have the giant format screens exclusively in North America upon their release.<\/p>\n<p>Their slate map confirms Marvel Studios\u2019 \u201cSpider-Man: Brand New Day\u201d and \u201cAvengers: Doomsday\u201d will only be available in IMAX in select international markets.  Neither film was shot for IMAX.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSpider-Man: Brand New Day\u201d opens July 31st, two weeks after \u201cThe Odyssey\u201d on July 17th.  The next IMAX exclusive after \u201cThe Odyssey\u201d will be \u201cFlowervale Street\u201d on August 14th.
