The IDF located and dismantled underground tunnel routes in the Beit Hanoun area of Gaza, the IDF announced in a press release on Thursday.<\/p>\n

The tunnels, about 5 km in total, transited east of the yellow line<\/a> into Israeli-controlled territory.<\/p>\n

The tunnels were discovered as part of continuing engineering operations being conducted by the IDF Southern Command, which is using targeted drilling to locate and clear terror infrastructure in IDF-held areas of Gaza<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Upon locating the tunnels, IDF soldiers from the Northern Brigade, working together with Yahalom Unit troops, demolished the underground network.<\/p>\n

In addition to the tunnels themselves, a weapons stockpile was uncovered within an underground tunnel route in the same area.\u00a0The stockpile included observation and surveillance equipment, explosive devices, ammunition, grenades, launchers, rifles, and RPG rockets.<\/p>\n

The IDF<\/a> said in its statement that “the Southern Command will continue operating in accordance with the ceasefire agreement to remove any immediate threat and to safeguard the security of the residents of the western Negev.”<\/p>\n

Additionally, the IDF attacked infrastructure belonging to the Radwan Force unit of the Hezbollah terrorist organization in the Al-Balkah area in Lebanon, an IDF spokesman announced on Thursday.<\/p>\n

The terrorist had crossed the yellow line and approached the troops, who identified him as an immediate threat and opened fire.<\/p>\n

In a separate incident, another terrorist was killed by IDF troops<\/a> after crossing the yellow line on Friday, with the soldiers having identified him as an imminent threat.<\/p>\n
