Kate and Anthony have been married for two years<\/a> in the Bridgerton universe. And in Season 4, the new parents prove they\u2019re never leaving the honeymoon phase.<\/p>\n

The loved-up couple makes their first appearance in Episode 6, snuggling with their adorable baby Edmund after returning from India. And while Anthony does have to attend to some viscount duties \u2014 getting to the bottom of Benedict\u2019s scandalous affection<\/a> for Sophie \u2014 he and Kate ultimately bookend the season with a romantic moment.<\/p>\n

#Kanthony Forever<\/p>\n

While Kate and Anthony\u2019s screen time was limited this time around, fans noticed that the couple made the most of every blink-and-you-miss-it moment.<\/p>\n

For example, even though they weren\u2019t sitting together at Benedict and Sophie\u2019s wedding<\/a> \u2014 as Anthony was on best-man duty, and Kate was chatting with family in the audience \u2014 the pair can be seen gazing at each other for the first five seconds of the post-credit nuptials.<\/p>\n

And in a still photo of the moment following \u201cI do,\u201d Kate seems to be turned toward Anthony while her in-laws are focused on the newlyweds. \u201cThe bride and the groom are to your LEFT,\u201d one fan playfully reminded Kate<\/a> on X (formerly Twitter), before adding: \u201cshe really spent the whole wedding looking at her man.\u201d<\/p>\n

For a couple whose early enemies-to-lovers romance was defined by tortured, yearning stares<\/a>, it\u2019s nice to see their penchant for eye contact hasn\u2019t gone away \u2014 they\u2019re just happy now! And of course, Anthony is equally \u201cdown bad\u201d for Kate, said one viewer<\/a>, writing that \u201che kept looking back at her every 2 business seconds.\u201d<\/p>\n

As one fan observed<\/a>, \u201cShe\u2019s so happy to see him so happy for his brother, it\u2019s so sweet.\u201d<\/p>\n

Eagle-eyed viewers also noticed<\/a> how quickly Anthony rushes to be with Kate after the happy couple said \u201cI do.\u201d (You can see it through the window as the camera floats through My Cottage<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\u201cSophie and Ben hadn\u2019t even walked down the aisle before Anthony went straight back into his wife\u2019s arms,\u201d one fan observed<\/a> on Reddit, prompting another to comment: \u201che can\u2019t be without her for 5 minutes.\u201d And who could blame him?<\/p>\n

What\u2019s Next?<\/p>\n

So, will there be more Kanthony to look forward to in Season 5 or beyond? Showrunner Jess Brownell has shared her hopes for the viscount and viscountess to help guide the second half of Bridgerton love stories. She told Forbes<\/a>, for example, that Kate is one of the \u201creally important relationships\u201d in Eloise\u2019s life. And Kate, like Eloise, once thought she\u2019d never marry \u2014 so her perspective would be especially relevant.<\/p>\n

Brownell also told The Hollywood Reporter<\/a> that Anthony has long been a \u201cfather figure\u201d to the youngest Bridgertons, Gregory and Hyacinth. \u201cI would love to have them back in future seasons,\u201d Brownell said of Simone Ashley and Jonathan Bailey, noting that the team will \u201chave to play it by ear\u201d regarding the actors\u2019 availability.<\/p>\n
