With these newly completed Agrosemillas Offices, Spanish firm Impepinable Studio presents a playful and more colorful take on the industrial workspace<\/a>. The project is located in El Peral, Cuenca, within Madrid<\/a>\u2019s broader agricultural territory, where expansive fields and logistics sheds dot the horizon. The 280 square-meter building, which takes shape with repurposed shipping containers<\/a>, sits inside an agro-industrial compound conceived for heavy vehicles and storage infrastructure.<\/p>\n

The setting is direct and exposed. Large sheds, silos, and paved yards shape an environment which follows harvest cycles, alternating between quieter periods and phases of intense activity. Within this context, the new offices introduce a human-scale workspace designed to support concentration and meetings amid the noise and dust.<\/p>\n

The architects<\/a> at Impepinable Studio organize the Agrosemillas Offices around four reused shipping containers opened along two sides. Their arrangement forms a sawtooth roof profile, generating a sequence of north-facing skylights that bring in consistent daylight across the interior. From outside, the green volumes sit clearly atop their pale concrete base, and establish continuity with the surrounding warehouses while marking a distinct presence.<\/p>\n

Circular openings puncture the concrete fa\u00e7ade at ground level, each paired with a manually operated round shutter. Painted in the company\u2019s yellow, these elements read as tactile devices rather than decorative gestures. The shutters slide across the glazing like oversized lightswitches which regulate sunlight and privacy with a simple physical action.<\/p>\n

The stacking strategy by Impepinable Studio creates a roof condition which lends lofty, sunlit spaces inside the Agrosemillas Offices. Green steel beams and perforated metal panels define the ceiling plane, while translucent polycarbonate filters daylight from above. The light carries a faint green tone to soften the industrial steel and cast subtle shadows across white walls and timber partitions.<\/p>\n

The plan follows a clear grid organized into three longitudinal bands: open work areas, service spaces, and meeting rooms with laboratory functions. Circulation aligns with logistical flows from the surrounding compound, separating access points according to operational needs. This structure allows warehouse staff and engineers to move through the building according to the changing seasons without disrupting focused work.<\/p>\n
