At the 27th annual Old Bags Luncheon at the Breakers in Palm Beach, Fla. on Wednesday, Feb. 18, the actress, businesswoman and producer shared that she \u201cwas nervous and lied.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI lied, to be honest with you. I never saw the show. I never saw Dallas. So I went in and did the interview and they asked me, have I seen the show? And I went, \u2018Oh yes, it’s wonderful. It’s really a good show. I love the cast,\u2019 ” Presley, 80, recalled.<\/p>\n

She added, “Then he says, \u2018Well, have you ever been to Dallas?\u2019 And I said, \u2018No, but I’d love to go to Dallas. It’s just, I’ve heard so much about it.\u2019 \u201d<\/p>\n
Presley shared that the casting director would ask questions and in her head, she thought, \u201cI’m in big trouble. I’m in really big trouble here. Help me out of this.\u201d<\/p>\n

I don’t know how I got it, but I got it,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n The drama-filled primetime soap starred Larry Hagman, Ken Kercheval, Barbara Bel Geddes, Patrick Duffy, Linda Gray, Victoria Principal and Charlene Tilton, to name a few.
