Robbie Williams<\/a>\u00a0led a tribute to\u00a0Ozzy Osbourne<\/a>\u00a0at the 2026\u00a0BRIT Awards<\/a>,\u00a0leading a group of his former bandmates for a version of \u2019No More Tears\u2019.<\/p>\n

The late\u00a0Black Sabbath<\/a>\u00a0frontman\u00a0was\u00a0the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award<\/a>\u00a0at the ceremony at Manchester\u2019s Co-op Live Arena tonight (February 28), just\u00a0seven months after he passed away<\/a>. Ozzy\u2019s wife Sharon gave an emotional speech to accept the award, alongside her daughter Kelly.<\/p>\n

Williams closed out the show by singing a version of the title track from Ozzy\u2019s multi-million selling 1991 album of the same name in a performance that was curated by Sharon. Playing alongside him were regular members of Ozzy\u2019s band over the years: Adam Wakeman, Robert Trujillo, Tommy Clufetos and Zakk Wylde.<\/p>\n

According to a statement released before the event, Williams was\u00a0\u201cinvited personally by Sharon to be part of this special moment, as a long-standing fan of the music, and friend of the Osbourne family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sharon Osbourne recently said that\u00a0Ozzy \u201cknew\u201d he was nearing the end of his life around the time of the \u2018Back To The Beginning\u2019 final show, but powered through because \u201che wanted to do it so bad\u201d.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cTwo weeks before the show, they said he could\u00a0probably die, and he did. But he wanted to do it so bad,\u201d she told the\u00a0Dumb Blonde\u00a0podcast. \u201cHe needed it. And [he was] like, \u2018Whether I die in two weeks or I die in six months, I\u2019m still dying. And I want to go my way.\u2019 And he did. He went like a rock star.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also\u00a0opened up\u00a0about how the metal pioneer had fought off sepsis earlier that year, and as a result \u201cknew it was time\u201d to start thinking realistically about the limited time he had left.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen he came out [of hospital], they said, \u2018You know, Ozzy, this could kill you.\u2019 And he said, \u2018I\u2019m doing my show.\u2019 He went out like a king,\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n

Williams, meanwhile,\u00a0played\u00a0in\u00a0Manchester\u2019s Aviva Studios on Friday night<\/a>\u00a0(February 27) as part of BRITs Week, in aid of War Child. Ahead of the show,\u00a0he taunted Noel Gallagher by putting up a poster for the show on the street where Noel used to live<\/a>.<\/p>\n
