Actor and model Bijou Phillips<\/a> revealed she\u2019s in dire need of a kidney transplant \u2015 and is \u201changing on by a thread.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI could make it on dialysis for a couple years, or I could get an infection in my line tomorrow and be gone in a few days,\u201d Phillips told Us Weekly in Friday\u2019s edition<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m really hopeful, [but] it\u2019s an extremely urgent situation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Phillips, who appeared in \u201cAlmost Famous\u201d and as a recurring character in the TV series \u201cRaising Hope,\u201d said she\u2019s needed a transplant for a year.<\/p>\n

The 45-year-old is the daughter of the late Mamas and Papas leader John Phillips and the sister of \u201cOne Day at a Time\u201d alum Mackenzie Phillips and singer Chynna Phillips of the group Wilson Phillips. She was born with underdeveloped kidneys and received her first transplant about 10 years ago.<\/p>\n

But in a Feb. 11 Instagram post<\/a> she said complications had arisen, including antibody rejection, and she would need a new kidney<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Phillips, who divorced imprisoned rapist Danny Masterson of \u201cThat \u201970s Show,\u201d praised boyfriend Jamie Mazur for helping her in her struggle.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe gets me to fight where I wouldn\u2019t probably have fought,\u201d she said to Us Weekly in a video on Instagram.<\/p>\n

Phillips recalled her daughter, Fianna, playing with dolls at age 3 and pretending one of them was going to dialysis.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m all she\u2019s got,\u201d Phillips told Us Weekly.<\/p>\n
