{"id":319155,"date":"2026-03-03T06:49:10","date_gmt":"2026-03-03T06:49:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/319155\/"},"modified":"2026-03-03T06:49:10","modified_gmt":"2026-03-03T06:49:10","slug":"palm-royale-cancelled-after-two-seasons","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/319155\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Palm Royale&#8221; Cancelled After Two Seasons"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>            <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/palm-royale-cancelled-after-two-seasons.jpg\" data-caption=\"Apple TV\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" class=\"entry-thumb td-modal-image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/palm-royale-cancelled-after-two-seasons.jpg\"   alt=\"\" title=\"palm-royale-cancelled-after-two-seasons\"\/><\/a>Apple TV<\/p>\n<p>Apple TV has cancelled its Kristen Wiig-led Emmy-nominated 1960s Florida-set dramedy series \u201cPalm Royale\u201d after two seasons.<\/p>\n<p>Loosely based on Juliet McDaniel\u2019s novel \u201cMr. and Mrs. American Pie,\u201d Wiig starred in the series as Maxine Simmons \u2013 an outsider striving to attain a place in the high society of Palm Beach, Florida.<\/p>\n<p>She sets her sights on the town\u2019s most exclusive country club, the Palm Royale, in the process learning what she will and won\u2019t do to achieve this.<\/p>\n<p>The show boasted an all-star cast including Laura Dern, Allison Janney, Ricky Martin, Josh Lucas, Leslie Bibb, Amber Chardae Robinson, Mindy Cohn, Julia Duffy, Kaia Gerber along with veterans Bruce Dern and Carol Burnett.<\/p>\n<p>Abe Sylvia (\u201cGeorge &amp; Tammy\u201d) served as showrunner, writer, and executive producer on the series, which racked up eleven Emmy nominations in its first season.
