Unihertz, known for its slab phone alternatives, has unveiled an evolution of its device with a physical keyboard: The Titan 2 Elite. It\u2019s smaller and sleeker than the (aptly named) Titan that precedes it, comes in the orange color that\u2019s all the rage right now, and looks a heck of a lot like a Blackberry.<\/p>\n
Unihertz teased the Elite in January<\/a>; from the teaser it looked to be a smaller Titan 2 with rounded edges. Having seen it in person at MWC, I can confirm that\u2019s exactly what it is. The keys are slightly smaller than the Titan 2\u2019s, and there\u2019s no secondary screen on the back of the new device. Like its predecessor, you can use the keyboard as a trackpad, as well as program custom shortcuts for the physical keys. The Elite comes with a 4.05 OLED compared to the 4.5-inch LCD on the Titan.<\/p>\n The Titan 2 Elite feels light in the hand and eminently pocketable. There\u2019s a programable key on the side as well as a physical SIM slot. Sadly, there is no headphone jack, which was disappointing after I mistook the IR control for one at first glance.
