On March 2-3, the moon slipped into Earth\u2019s shadow and transformed into a stunning copper-red orb. This event was especially significant because it was the last total lunar eclipse until 2028. If you didn\u2019t get the chance to see it live, here are some incredible images capturing the magic.<\/p>\n

Totality began shortly before the moon reached the peak of its full phase at 11:38 UTC<\/a> on March 3. Here are some images of the dazzling moon from the day before. The moon appears full both the day before and the day after reaching its peak full phase.<\/p>\n
