Coronation Street gives Sam Blakeman some much-needed support next week \u2013 as Hope Dobbs shares advice about standing up to bullies. Can Sam take this on board and start to fight back against malicious Megan Walsh<\/a>?<\/p>\n

Sam is currently facing a difficult time, as Megan is manipulating him following his discovery of her inappropriate relationship with Will Driscoll<\/a>. After threatening Sam into silence, Megan is making him question his capabilities at school. Sam has even started experimenting with pills, in the misguided hope that they’ll help with his studies.<\/p>\n

Next week, Sam’s dad Nick Tilsley consults with Leanne and Toyah Battersby as he worries about the teenager’s stress levels. But it’s not just Sam’s family who are concerned for his welfare \u2013 his mates have also noticed something’s up. <\/p>\n

Hope thinks Sam is being bullied and tells her friend to stand up for himself if he wants it to stop. She assures him that bullies are all cowards deep down \u2013 so Sam heeds Hope’s words. <\/p>\n

“Hope has been close to Sam for years, so it was only ever a matter of time before she played a role in this storyline,” our cobbles source explains.<\/p>\n

“Everyone knows that Hope isn’t to be messed with, as she’s had her fair share of dangerous moments over the years. But could her ruthless streak be exactly what Sam needs for inspiration, as he tries to find the strength to expose Megan?”<\/p>\n

The next time Megan corners Sam, she spitefully says nobody will believe him if he ever spoke about her and Will. Megan is not prepared for Sam to retaliate and declare he’s not afraid of her anymore, leading to a tense stand-off.<\/p>\n

With Sam pushed too far, could he even end up lashing out and making Megan the mystery victim of next month’s Corrie murder?<\/p>\n

Show bosses have named Megan as one of five characters<\/a> who could be killed off on the day of Carla Connor and Lisa Swain’s wedding on 23 April<\/a>. The other possibilities are Carl Webster<\/a>, Jodie Ramsey, Maggie Driscoll and Theo Silverton<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Coronation Street airs on weeknights at 8.30pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX<\/a>.<\/p>\n
