The hilarious first trailer for Last One Laughing season 2 has landed, with standout turns from Alan Carr and returning champion Bob Mortimer. The pair are part of the impressive cast for the next edition of the Prime Video<\/a> show alongside Romesh Ranganathan, Maisie Adam, David Mitchell, Mel Giedroyc, Sam Campbell, Diane Morgan, Amy Gledhill and Gbemisola Ikumelo.<\/p>\n

The series sees the group of comedians put into a room as they’re tasked with making each other laugh \u2013 while also desperately trying to avoid corpsing themselves.<\/p>\n

In the brief teaser, we get a taste of all the antics to come, including Alan asking the others whether he was “constipated or concentrating”, and Bob doing an impression of a “randy dolphin” to Mel.<\/p>\n

Other big moments include David joking that Masie “used” him, as well as the Ludwig star having an epic shout-off with Sam.<\/p>\n

Season one winner Bob previously spoke about Alan’s performance on Last One Laughing<\/a> and how it compares to his winning turn on The Celebrity Traitors last year.<\/p>\n

“It’s very difficult not to laugh,” he told This Morning. “Can you imagine the problem Alan had trying not to laugh? He’s a giggler.”<\/p>\n

He also teased that someone may be eliminated thanks to one of his hilarious songs, recalling: “In the new series, I think I do get rid of someone via the gift of song. I think so, yeah.”<\/p>\n

Last One Laughing became a big hit on Prime Video<\/a> last year, and was soon renewed for a second run<\/a>, Bob admitting that they “absolutely [did] not” predict the show would be so big. “That’s probably the reason a lot of us did it. We thought, ‘Well, no-one’s gonna watch it’,” he added.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the renewal, host Jimmy Carr said in a statement: “I’m absolutely delighted that Last One Laughing is coming back for a second series.<\/p>\n

“I think what\u2019s happened is someone high up at Amazon has clicked \u2018subscribe & save\u2019 on Prime Video and, hey presto, we\u2019re back in business.”<\/p>\n

Last One Laughing UK season 2 begins on Thursday, 19 March on Prime Video<\/a>. Season 1 is streaming now.<\/p>\n
