\n\tDaisy Edgar-Jones<\/a> will star in Paramount<\/a>\u2018s upcoming adaptation of Gabrielle Zevin\u2019s best-selling novel \u201cTomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow.\u201d It\u2019s the story of two friends whose lives first intersect in childhood and college, and follows them as they become creative partners in the video game business. Edgar-Jones will play Sadie Green, a brilliant game designer.<\/p>\n

\n\tSi\u00e2n Heder, an Oscar winner for \u201cCODA,\u201d is directing and writing the screenplay based on drafts by Mark Bomback and Zevin.\u00a0Set over several decades, the plot follows Sadie and her co-collaborator Sam Masur, as well as Sam\u2019s roommate and friend Marx Watanabe, as they build a video game studio called Unfair Games. The roles of Sam and Marx haven\u2019t been cast.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cTomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow\u201d was published in 2022 and has sold over four million copies worldwide in 40 foreign language territories. It has been named one of the 100 best books of the 21st Century by the New York Times\u00a0and one of the best fiction book of the last 30 years\u00a0by the Los Angeles Times.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cTomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow\u201d will be produced by Temple Hill\u2019s\u00a0Wyck Godfrey,\u00a0Marty Bowen, and Isaac Klausner. Zevin will serve as executive producer.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tEdgar-Jones first gained notice starring opposite Paul Mescal in 2020\u2019s acclaimed limited series\u00a0\u201cNormal People,\u201d earning nominations for a\u00a0British Academy Television Award\u00a0and a\u00a0Golden Globe Award. She then starred in such box office hits as 2022\u2019s \u201cWhere the Crawdads Sing\u201d\u00a0and 2024\u2019s \u201cTwisters.\u201d Other film credits include\u00a0\u201cOn Swift Horses\u201d and \u201cFresh.\u201d\u00a0On TV, she earned another Golden Globe nomination for FX\/Hulu\u2019s 2022 miniseries \u201cUnder the Banner of Heaven.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tEdgar-Jones will next star in a new adaptation of Jane Austen\u2019s \u201cSense and Sensibility\u201d from director Georgia Oakley, which Focus Features will release this fall. She\u2019s also set to appear opposite Denzel Washington and Robert Pattinson in the Fernando Meirelles-directed \u201cHere Comes the Flood\u201d for Netflix, as well as Chloe Dumont\u2019s thriller \u201cA Place in Hell\u201d alongside Michelle Williams and Andrew Scott.<\/p>\n

\n\tEdgar-Jones has appeared on stage\u00a0in the\u00a02024 West End\u00a0revival of the Tennessee Williams classic\u00a0\u201cCat on a Hot Tin Roof\u201d with Kingsley Ben-Adir.
