A fire broke out in central Israel after shrapnel from an Iranian<\/a> missile hit central Israel on Thursday night, following a launch that triggered sirens throughout the country.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Eyewitness reports claimed that Iran used cluster munitions, although this was not confirmed by any official governmental or military<\/a> source.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Several firefighting crews responded to the fire and determined that it was a warehouse that had been hit by a missile fragment and immediately went up in flames.<\/p>\n

Firefighters worked to stop the fire from spreading to nearby buildings and extinguish the source.<\/p>\n

United Hatzalah<\/a> reported that a 10-year-old boy sustained minor injuries as a result of the shrapnel hit. He received first aid treatment at the scene and was then taken to a nearby hospital. Responders also treated three people suffering from post-traumatic symptoms.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Later, in the early hours of Friday morning, sirens were heard several times in several towns in northern Israel<\/a> near the Lebanon border. No property damage or injuries were reported.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Additionally, residents of the northern West Bank rushed to protected areas in the early hours of Friday morning following a hostile aircraft intrusion warning.
