He was admitted to Lilavati hospital and the doctors informed the media that experienced a minor brain haemorrhage and subsequently underwent a surgical procedure. Dr Jalil Parkar who was treating him had told the media after his surgery, &#8220;There was minimal brain haemorrhage. A procedure called DSA was done today morning. No surgery was required. He is still on ventilator. By tomorrow hopefully, he will be off ventilator. Keeping in mind the age, the time of recovery is more. He&#8217;s fine, he&#8217;s stable&#8230; All in all, he&#8217;s doing quite well,&#8221; he added.One saw several members of the film fraternity, and friends of Salim Khan, <a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/topic\/salman-khan\" styleobj=\"[object Object]\" class=\"\" commonstate=\"[object Object]\" frmappuse=\"1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Salman Khan<\/a> and family visiting him. Now Salim Khan&#8217;s friend <a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/topic\/javed-akhtar\" styleobj=\"[object Object]\" class=\"\" commonstate=\"[object Object]\" frmappuse=\"1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Javed Akhtar<\/a> who he formed the iconic Salim-Javed pair with, has now dropped an update on his health.  <\/p>\n<p>Khan family upset over public health update on Salim Khan; Seeks complete privacy<\/p>\n<p> Akhtar was present at a book launch event in the city. During this conversation, he also spoke about Salim Khan. As quoted by Hindustan Times, Akhtar said, &#8220;Salim is fine now. He\u2019s okay and recovering. He\u2019s sitting on a chair and talking, and I mean, he has improved.\u201dA few days ago, Salman&#8217;s co-star Daisy Shah had also shared that the screenwriter is out of danger now. &#8220;Daisy revealed that although she hasn\u2019t personally met the family at the hospital, she has been regularly checking in with Salman. She told Filmygyan, \u201cI couldn\u2019t meet Salim sir, but I am constantly in touch with Salman sir and his family. Salim Sir is fine now. He is stable.
