Losing your engagement ring<\/a> is a very real nightmare\u2014maybe it slips off of your finger, or you leave it on the side of a public restroom sink. Or, like Lily Collins, you experience the horror that is having it stolen. But there\u2019s some cause of celebration for Collins, who has successfully recovered her ring three years after its theft.<\/p>\n

The Emily in Paris actor posted a selfie with the ring on her Instagram Stories yesterday (March 6) with the caption: \u201cHaving this home means SO much to us. I\u2019m still speechless [that] it\u2019s back in my finger.\u201d Collins\u2019s ring is a \u201cone-of-a-kind rose-cut diamond,\u201d designed by Irene Neuwirth, and valued at over $80,000.<\/p>\n

Collins announced her engagement<\/a> to writer-director Charlie McDowell<\/a>, which took place during a trip to Mexico, back in September 2020. They wed in September 2021<\/a> in Dunton Hot Springs, Colorado. She wore a long-sleeved<\/a>, hooded lace gown by Ralph Lauren<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In the years since, they have welcomed one daughter<\/a>, Tove Jane McDowell.<\/p>\n

In May 2023, the actor\u2019s engagement ring, wedding band, and electronic devices were taken from her locker within The West Hollywood EDITION hotel\u2019s spa. The theft was investigated at the time by the Los Angeles County Sheriff, to no avail.<\/p>\n
