Andrew then left William and his wife, Catherine, Princess of Wales, aka Kate Middleton, standing on the steps of Westminster Cathedral.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">According to the lip reader, Kate, 44, said to her husband, \u201cHe seemed very sorry.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cDo you think I deserved that? Is that what you mean?\u201d William replied to his wife, who simply repeated herself, saying again, \u201cHe seemed very sorry.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">One month later, Andrew would be stripped of his royal titles, and by 2026, he would vacate his longtime home of Royal Lodge and be arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
