In a candid conversation on MS NOW\u2019s \u201cThe Best People\u201d podcast, Tig Notaro opened up about her strained relationship with former friend and podcast co-host Cheryl Hines, particularly in light of Hines\u2019 marriage to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Notaro admitted to having to confront the reality of their fallout, stating, \u201cI had to shake myself out of denial that it was good and over.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reflecting on her decision to depart from the podcast \u201cTig and Cheryl: True Story,\u201d Notaro expressed discomfort with Hines\u2019 association with RFK Jr. and his politically charged rhetoric. Despite the pain of losing the friendship, Notaro expressed a longing for more fulfilling connections in her life. \u201cIt\u2019s really sad, because it did bring me so much joy. But that\u2019s what I\u2019m looking for, is I want to get back to prioritizing people that bring me joy and workloads that bring me joy,\u201d she reflected.<\/p>\n
