The decline, representing roughly 200,000 tons, was <a href=\"https:\/\/africa.businessinsider.com\/local\/leaders\/cameroon-re-elects-paul-biya-worlds-oldest-sitting-president-for-eighth-term\/klclzk3\" id=\"fdf90e4e-6346-41f7-ad24-0dbb089b89ea\" data-link-role-code=\"open_new_tab\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">attributed to post-election unrest<\/a> following Cameroon\u2019s October 2025 presidential vote, which disrupted economic activity in Douala and several other major cities.\n    <\/p>\n<p>\n        The slowdown in Cameroon also weighed on Dangote Cement\u2019s pan-African performance.
