Elizabeth Hurley<\/a> isn’t afraid of a re-wear.<\/p>\n

The actress and model, 60,<\/a> took to Instagram on Monday, March 9<\/a>, to share photos of herself in a Versace gown, which she originally wore to the Met Gala in 1999.<\/p>\n

Photos of Hurley<\/a> at an event in India show the “Serving Sarah” star in a black silk chiffon dress with a slit up the leg. At the waist \u2212 and the base of a plunging neckline \u2212 is a constellation of orange, pink and deep purple jewels. The backless number was paired with a clear bindi and dangling earrings.<\/p>\n

“India has been a pivotal part of my life for over 20 years and I cherish every moment in this magnificent country,” she wrote in the caption. “What a magical first night back in paradise, reuniting with some of my favourite people on the planet.”<\/p>\n

Hurley went<\/a> on to say that she first wore the dress, “from my archive,” 27 years ago at the 1997 Met Gala<\/a>. Getty Image records show, however, that she wore the gown at the 1999 Met Gala, which was themed “Rock Style.”<\/p>\n

Stars are stepping out at the final awards events of the season as the 2026 Oscar race enters its final stretch. The star-studded Actor Awards kicked off the month of March, which will also feature the debut of movies like “The Bride!” and “Project Hail Mary,” not to mention the Academy Awards on March 15.<\/p>\n

Both Donatella Versace, the former creative director of the design house responsible for Hurley’s dress, and Billy Ray Cyrus,<\/a> the actress’ romantic partner<\/a>, commented on the post, leaving a string of heart emojis in various colors.<\/p>\n

Hurley and Cyrus first went public with their relationship in April 2025. The actress was previously married to Indian businessman Arun Nayar from 2007 to 2011. She also had long-term relationships with English actor\u00a0Hugh Grant<\/a>\u00a0and Australian cricketer Shane Warne. The actress has a son, 23-year-old actor and filmmaker\u00a0Damian Hurley<\/a>, whom she shares with late businessman Steve Bing.<\/p>\n
