As models walk their final runways and editors catch evening flights out of Paris Fashion Week<\/a>, this week\u2019s standout beauty looks appear almost deceptively straightforward. The fall-winter 2026 season\u2019s best antidote to doomscrolling, for example, is simply getting lost in a novel, according to models backstage at Isabel Marant, who shared their book-club recommendations with Vogue Beauty<\/a>. Then, there were the simple part switches that hair artists Duffy<\/a> sent out at Saint Laurent and Anthony Turner<\/a> slicked down at Herm\u00e8s and Acne Studios. At long last, the once-mocked side part returned to its full prominence (a styling detail Vogue spotted coming<\/a> seasons ago).<\/p>\n

After plenty of spooky, gothy notes in New York<\/a> and sooty, smoked-out looks in Milan<\/a>, Paris washed the slate clean except for hints of leftover liner from makeup artist Peter Philips<\/a> at Dior and morning-after makeup from Pat McGrath<\/a> at Schiaparelli. Sparkling hair adornments leveled things up, whether through Turner\u2019s extensions wrapped in gilded hair jewelry at Chlo\u00e9 or the glittering hair tinsel Duffy wove through lengths at Chanel. It\u2019s enough to encourage anyone to grab a bauble, a brooch, and a bunch of bobby pins and try something new.<\/p>\n

Here are three ways to start living in this season\u2019s beauty, according to the Paris shows.<\/p>\n

The high-low hair adornment has arrived. At Chanel, Duffy attached thousands of tiny strands of tinsel to models\u2019 hairlines to create what appeared to be holographic comb marks<\/a>, while at Celine, a simple cord wrapped around a model\u2019s forehead<\/a> was all he required. At Dries Van Noten, hair artist Olivier Schawalder<\/a> secured hundreds of shining bobby pins atop models\u2019 heads, occasionally adding golden jewels<\/a> over the ears. And Turner, undoubtedly one of the busiest artists of the season, incorporated an elven headpiece<\/a> at Ann Demeulemeester after adding jewel-wrapped extensions<\/a> he called \u201cmemories tied into hair\u201d at Chlo\u00e9, where he carried a can of L\u2019Or\u00e9al Paris Elnett hairspray<\/a> in his back pocket. Chemena Kamali\u2019s inspiration was a woman discovering the world and herself, says Turner. \u201cThe hair was meant to reflect her journey through the elements,\u201d he explains. \u201cWe included a braid in the hair, which was adorned with Chlo\u00e9 jewelry\u2014I like to think that this represents trinkets she finds on her travels and attaches them to her hair.\u201d<\/p>\n
