Harry Styles<\/a> returned to Saturday Night Live <\/a>to perform tracks from \u2018Kiss All\u00a0The Time. Disco, Occasionally<\/a>\u2019, and address previous accusations of \u201cqueerbaiting\u201d.<\/p>\n

The former\u00a0One Direction<\/a> singer turned soloist released his new album last week (March 6), and stopped by SNL to perform \u2018Dance No More\u2019 and \u2018Coming Up Roses\u2019. The first saw him introduced by Ryan Gosling<\/a>, who crashed his show much like Styles had crashed the Project Hail Mary star\u2019s episode<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The latter track was introduced by Paul Simon<\/a>, whom Styles has often cited as a huge influence on his sound, previously sharing that One Direction\u2019s \u2018Walking in the Wind\u2019 was a tribute to \u2018Graceland\u2019.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in last night\u2019s (March 14) episode, a monologue from the host and musical guest saw Styles address\u00a0past claims that he was \u201cqueerbaiting\u201d with his eccentric fashion choices.<\/p>\n

\u201cBack then,\u201d he explained, \u201cpeople seemed to pay a lot of attention to the clothes I was wearing, and some people accused me of something called queerbaiting. But did it ever occur to you that maybe you don\u2019t know everything about me, Dad?\u201d<\/p>\n

The singer also nodded to the name of his new record and jokingly said he used AI to come up with it, saying: \u201cI did a prompt on ChatGPT that said, \u2018Give me the most Italian phrase to ever exist,\u2019 and it came back with Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally.\u201d<\/p>\n

He went on to say, \u201cSometimes kissing can be great, you know, if you\u2019re really good at it, and you\u2019re a good person, or if you have a tight little bum\u201d, after which Ben Marshall appeared on stage and kissed Styles, who concluded, \u201cNow that\u2019s queerbaiting.\u201d<\/p>\n

His SNL stint comes after he performed \u2018Kiss All The Time\u2026\u2019 in full at a special \u2018One Night Only\u2019 concert in Manchester<\/a> last week. The show was recorded for a new Netflix special<\/a> and featured an encore of hits, including \u2018As It Was\u2019 and \u2018Watermelon Sugar\u2019.\u00a0He gifted 50 pairs of tickets for the phone-free gig to pupils at his former school<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis album is out in the world now, and it means so, so much to me,\u201d he told the audience. \u201cI hope that maybe one day it might mean a little something to you. I hope you have fun with it, I hope you have good times to it, I hope maybe one day it helps you through something hard as well.\u201d<\/p>\n

Styles will embark on his seven-city \u2018Together, Together\u2019 tour<\/a>\u00a0this\u00a0spring. The trek boasts\u00a0a record-breaking 12-night stint at London\u2019s Wembley Stadium<\/a>\u00a0and a huge 30-date residency in New York.<\/p>\n

In\u00a0a four-star review<\/a>,\u00a0NME\u00a0described \u2018Kiss All\u00a0The\u00a0Time\u2026\u2019 as \u201can album that you\u2019ll really want to spend a lot of time with, letting all its layers envelope you\u201d.\u00a0It read: \u201cIt\u2019s the most exploratory album of his career so far, trying out new things and steering his ship in new directions.\u201d<\/p>\n

Styles gave \u2018Aperture\u2019 its live debut at the BRITs 2026<\/a>\u00a0last\u00a0month. He recently explained that follow-up single\u00a0\u2018American Girls\u2019 was about watching his friends get married<\/a>, saying: \u201cIt\u2019s actually quite a lonely song in a lot of ways.\u201d<\/p>\n

He has also played a\u00a0BBC Radio 1<\/a>\u00a0Live Lounge set,\u00a0including a cover of Tears\u00a0For\u00a0Fears\u2019 \u2018Everybody Wants\u00a0To\u00a0Rule\u00a0The\u00a0World\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere,\u00a0the singer made a cameo appearance during Ryan Gosling\u2019s opening monologue on\u00a0Saturday Night Live\u00a0last week<\/a>, ahead of Styles pulling double duty on the show this weekend.<\/p>\n

In other news,\u00a0Styles has explained the reasoning behind hosting residencies in multiple cities instead of embarking on a full global tour<\/a>. The singer has\u00a0remembered how watching Radiohead perform in Berlin had inspired him to play live again<\/a>, too.<\/p>\n
