Dream Maker and Nob Prods., in collaboration with local and international partners, are expanding their film slate with a trio of Thai features aimed at strengthening their presence in the domestic theatrical market while also positioning the titles for broader distribution across Asia, the companies said.

The rollout starts in May with “Behind the Screens,” a dark comedy-drama headlined by acclaimed actors Pong Nawat, Koy Rachwin and Ray MacDonald. Blending sharp satire with an emotionally driven relationship narrative, the film is positioned as one of the companies’ most highly anticipated releases of the year.

It will be followed by the mystery-thriller “Televil,” starring A-list Thai actor Weir Sukollawat. The story centers on a man who discovers a mysterious television set that is capable of drawing people into its world after his friends and wife are pulled inside.

Rounding out the lineup is “Tea Lounge,” a feature incorporating elements of the increasingly popular Boys’ Love genre, reflecting the region’s growing appetite for diverse and inclusive storytelling.

Sathanapong Limwongthong, vice chairman of Dream Maker and president of Nob Prods., said the company is intentionally steering away from a single-genre identity in favor of cultivating a more versatile slate.

“Many studios establish a strong brand by focusing on a specific genre,” Limwongthong said. “Our ambition, however, is to develop a diverse portfolio of films that can resonate with different segments of the audience.”

He added that the three upcoming releases are expected to build momentum for the companies’ future projects while reinforcing audience confidence in the Dream Maker and Nob Prods. banner.

Dream Maker and Nob Prods., in collaboration with local and international partners, are expanding their film slate with…

[8
146,167671,85,46
post-344944","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-entertainment","tag-entertainment","tag-hong-kong-filmart","tag-il","tag-israel
["GET
