An original member of The Pussycat Dolls<\/a> has said she wasn\u2019t invited to the group\u2019s upcoming comeback tour.<\/p>\n

The \u2018Don\u2019t Cha\u2019 girl group announced last week that they have reformed as a trio<\/a>, with Nicole Scherzinger<\/a>, Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt, as part of a 20 year celebration of their debut album \u2018PCD\u2019.<\/p>\n

However, original member Carmir Bachar \u2013 who was part of the first line-up alongside Scherzinger, Roberts, Wyatt, Jessica Sutta and Melody Thornton \u2013 has alleged that she was not included in the reunion.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn light of recent developments, I feel it is important to speak honestly and respectfully,\u201d she wrote in an Instagram post shared yesterday (March 17). \u201cI was not contacted regarding the group\u2019s decision to move forward, and I learned of these plans at the same time as the public.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bachar continued to say that she wishes she had been directly contacted regarding the reunion \u201cgiven [her] history with the brand\u201d and that this is \u201cdisappointing on a personal level.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite her disappointment, Bachar added that she is proud of her work with the group and that, despite speaking publicly on the matter, she does not intend to start any drama.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy intention in sharing this is not to create division, but to honor the truth and the fans who have supported us throughout the years,\u201d she explains. \u201cTransparency and respect are values I hold deeply.\u201d<\/p>\n

Going forward, Bachar said she is focusing on her well-being and will be sharing new projects, such as new music and an \u201cexciting collaboration with a television and music industry icon.\u201d<\/p>\n

They group will hit the road for a 53 date tour kicking off in North America in June with Lil\u2019 Kim<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Mya<\/a>\u00a0before hitting the UK and Ireland for nine dates in September with Kim as support.<\/p>\n

These will include shows in Birmingham, Nottingham, Leeds, Liverpool, Dublin, Glasgow, Newcastle and Manchester, before the tour concludes with a date at London\u2019s O2 Arena on October 13.<\/p>\n

Tickets will go on general sale at 10am local time worldwide on Friday, March 20 and can be purchased in the UK\u00a0here<\/a>\u00a0and US\u00a0here<\/a>. The girl group have also shared new single \u2018Club Song\u2019 the first new material since 2019\u2019s \u2018React\u2019. It is produced by Mike Sabbath (RAYE<\/a>,\u00a0Jade<\/a>) and written by Scherzinger with Sabbath, Caroline Ailin (Dua Lipa<\/a>) and Solly (Teddy Swims<\/a>). Listen to it below.<\/p>\n

The group announced their\u00a0reunion<\/a>\u00a0in 2019 and were set to head out on a run of UK and Ireland dates, but\u00a0COVID-19<\/a>\u00a0and a\u00a0legal dispute halted their plans<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Of the reuniuon, Scherzinger told\u00a0BBC News<\/a>: \u201cAfter 20 years, you\u2019re like, \u2018Where is everybody?\u2019 But for us, it aligned. People are in different places in their lives, some of the other people have different commitments and priorities, but this worked out for us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Roberts explained it was Scherzinger who first \u201creached out\u201d to the other Dolls about reuniting.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe had some conversations, and we were just like, \u2018We\u2019re on the same page, we\u2019re excited about embracing where we\u2019re at now as women and celebrating that\u2019,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
