Before heading to the inaugural Fanatics Flag Football Classic<\/a>, Patriots legend Tom Brady<\/a> made a pit stop at \u201cThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/a>\u201d on Tuesday \u2014 and reminded everyone he\u2019s still got it.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Brady discussed his card-collecting business, \u201cCardVault by Tom Brady,\u201d while also teasing his return to the field \u2014 his first since retiring in 2023.<\/p>\n

The interview opened with a dose of nostalgia, as Fallon surprised Brady with an old photo of the two at a Syracuse basketball game, drawing an audible reaction from the audience.\u00a0<\/p>\n

From there, the conversation turned to how Brady watches football now.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cYou want to see all these guys do well, but you\u2019re kind of also like, \u2018What are they doing?\u2019 and strategizing,\u201d Brady said. \u201cNow, I\u2019m just so beyond that. Now, I\u2019m like, \u2018I just want to see some great plays happening.\u2019\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Brady said his broadcasting role with FOX<\/a> has shifted his perspective, allowing him to appreciate the next generation of players.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to see these young guys on the field be better than what we were,\u201d he said. \u201cWe took the game to a certain point. Now, they got to elevate it to the next point.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

The two also leaned into humor, poking fun at their high school haircuts \u2014 Fallon admitted to getting a perm. They also discussed Brady\u2019s recently revealed bronze statue at Gillette Stadium<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then all the pigeons take dead aim at that whenever they fly over,\u201d Brady joked about the statue.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Then came the discussion of Brady\u2019s return to the field in the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, set for Saturday in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

The event will feature a mix of current and former NFL players and celebrities, including Patriots<\/a> legend Rob Gronkowski<\/a>. For Brady, it marks an unexpected return to competition.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been in the booth watching these young guys playing. Now I get to go out there and try to kick their butt once again and remind them who\u2019s boss,\u201d Brady said, as the crowd erupted in applause.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Originally scheduled for Riyadh, the game was moved to Los Angeles due to ongoing conflicts in the Middle East<\/a>, Brady explained.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Before the segment wrapped, Brady gave Fallon a quick quarterback lesson \u2014 even channeling Bill Belichick<\/a> to fire him up.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cGod-damn it, Jimmy!\u201d Brady said in his best Belichick impression.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s what I want! That\u2019s what I\u2019m talking about!\u201d Fallon replied, eventually delivering a surprisingly solid throw.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The pair capped the appearance with a game in which Brady attempted to hit vinyl records tossed into the air. In 30 seconds, he shattered nine \u2014 plus one \u201caccidental\u201d hit on Fallon.<\/p>\n

\u201cOops, that one slipped,\u201d Brady said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s how you do it right there,\u201d an enthused Fallon said after the game ended. \u201cYou\u2019re the best.\u201d<\/p>\n
