Deepika Padukone lost two of her big projects this year \u2013 Spirit and Kalki 2. While several reports claiming why Deepika has been ousted from Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Nag Ashwin\u2019s directorial have also been ruling headlines, one fact that has caught everyone\u2019s attention is how both the movies\u00a0starred Prabhas opposite the actress. This also left everyone wondering if Prabhas is behind Deepika Padukone\u2019s<\/a> ousting from Kalki 2 and Spirit.<\/p>\n Is Prabhas Behind Deepika Padukone\u2019s Exit From Kalki 2, Spirit?<\/p>\n As reported by Great Andhra, a section of Deepika Padukone\u2019s fans suspect Prabhas\u2019 role behind the actress\u2019 ousting from both the big projects. Fans argue that if Prabhas had intervened, the makers would not have dropped Deepika from the films. However, by not interfering, Prabhas indirectly supported their decision to drop Deepika from the films.<\/p>\n However, the same report by Great Andhra also cites a source who claims that Prabhas does not interfere in casting decisions of his projects. Therefore, he stayed away from all the discussions between the makers and Deepika.<\/p>\n Deepika Padukone\u2019s Exit From Kalki 2<\/p>\n Vyjayanthi Movies recently confirmed Deepika\u2019s exit from the Kalki 2898 AD sequel via an official note on X: \u201cThis is to officially announce that @deepikapadukone will not be a part of the upcoming sequel of #Kalki2898AD. After careful consideration, we have decided to part ways. Despite the long journey of making the first film, we were unable to find a partnership. And a film like @Kalki2898AD deserves that commitment and much more. We wish her the best with her future projects.”<\/p>\n Sandeep Reddy Vanga Also Removed Deepika From Spirit<\/p>\n Kalki was the second Prabhas movie from which Deepika Padukone was removed. Earlier this year, Sandeep Reddy Vanga had also removed the actress from Spirit. Reports suggest that her demands, including eight-hour workdays, a high salary, and a share in the film\u2019s profits, did not sit well with director Vanga. Deepika, a new mother, is reportedly seeking to balance her work and personal life by reducing her working hours.<\/p>\n Vanga also took to his X handle and slammed Deepika<\/a> by accusing her of playing \u2018dirty PR games\u2019. \u201cWhen I narrate a story to an actor, I place 100% faith. There is an unsaid NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) between us. But by doing this, You\u2019ve \u2018DISCLOSED\u2019 the person that you are\u2026Putting down a Younger actor and ousting my story?
