\n\tThe special, appropriately titled \u201cBTS<\/a>\u00a0The Comeback Live: Arirang,\u201d is set to air live from Seoul, South Korea on the streamer Saturday and marks the group\u2019s first full performance together in nearly four years after its seven members completed mandatory military service. However, BTS\u2019 label BigHit Music shared on the social platform Weverse<\/a> that RM\u2019s movement on stage would be \u201cpartially limited\u201d due to an ankle injury he suffered in rehearsals on Thursday.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cRM suffered an ankle injury and was taken to a hospital to undergo a detailed examination and treatment,\u201d the statement reads. \u201cA medical diagnosis confirmed a sprain of the accessory navicular, a partial ligament tear, and a talus contusion (which includes ligament damage and inflammation). As advised by medical professionals, he must wear a cast and strictly limit movement for a minimum of two weeks to concentrate solely on his recovery.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe statement continues, \u201cWhile RM expressed a firm commitment to deliver a high-quality performance at this symbolic comeback stage at Gwanghwamun, the company, in close consultation with the artist, has made the decision to prioritize the medical opinion to preemptively prevent any further strain on his injury. Accordingly, RM\u2019s on-stage performance, including choreography, will be partially limited.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tBTS\u2019 first album in six years, \u201cArirang,\u201d released on Friday. After \u201cBTS The Comeback Live,\u201d the group will embark on a global tour encompassing 79 performances across 34 markets and lasting nearly a year, with even more dates to be announced.<\/p>\n
