Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN<\/a>) is among the 10 Best AI Stocks to Buy for the Next 10 Years<\/a>. On March 17, Reuters reported that Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) CEO Andy Jassy said that he expects AI to help the cloud computing unit, Amazon Web Services (AWS), to reach $600 billion in annual sales. This is double his earlier estimate.<\/p>\n

Jassy said during an internal all-hands \u200cmeeting that he believed AWS could grow into \u201cabout \u200ba $300 billion annual revenue, run rate business\u201d in around 10 years. However, he added, \u201cI \u200bthink what\u2019s happening in AI that AWS has a chance to be at least \u2060double that.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the report by Reuters, AWS reported $128.7 billion in sales in 2025, which was a 19% increase from 2024. Jassy\u2019s new outlook indicates an average growth rate of almost 17% every year over the next ten years for AWS. He said AI is creating a rare opportunity to build a very large business, adding that there are strong and clear signs of demand. Jassy also noted that Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) is not investing around $200 billion in capital spending just because it is \u201choping AI is going to be big.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jassy explained that the \u201cfaster we grow in \u200bAWS, the more capex we \u200bhave to spend shorter \u2060term, because we have to lay out all that capital for land, power, buildings, chips, servers, networking gear. We have to lay all that out a couple of \u200byears in advance of when we\u2019re going to monetize.\u201d<\/p>\n
