\n\t\u201cCIA<\/a>\u201d has been renewed for Season 2 at CBS.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe police procedural from \u201cLaw & Order\u201d legend Dick Wolf premiered on Feb. 23 and scored 8.4 million multiplatform viewers (across broadcast and streaming) in its first week, according to Nielsen. <\/p>\n

\n\tA spinoff of CBS\u2019 \u201cFBI\u201d series, \u201cCIA\u201d follows by-the-book FBI Special Agent Bill Goodman, played by Nick Gehlfuss, who is loaned out to a secretive CIA\/FBI task force and must team up with the roguish CIA Agent Colin Glass (Tom Ellis). \u201cTogether they will work covert operations in New York, uncovering international plots, terrorist cells and geopolitical secrets,\u201d per the logline. \u201cOn CIA, Bill will learn the rules of this murky world on the fly as Colin leads him deeper into spy games where only one thing is clear \u2014 their work keeps America safe, even if no one will ever know what they did in the shadows.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn addition to Gehlfuss and Ellis, Natalee Linez stars as CIA analyst Gina Gosian and Necar Zadegan plays Nikki Reynard, the deputy chief of the CIA\u2019s New York branch. The show also features actors from the \u201cFBI\u201d franchise who have crossed over, including Jeremy Sisto, James Chen, Missy Peregrym and Alana de la Garza.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cCIA\u201d is created by Wolf, David Hudgins, Nicole Perlman, David Chasteen and Warren Leight. Executive producers are Peter Jankowski, Anastasia Puglisi, Perlman, Chasteen, Paul Cabbad, Ken Girotti, Mike Weiss and Wolf. And the show is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, in association with Wolf Entertainment and CBS Studios.<\/p>\n
