The backing band featured three-fourths of <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/artists\/3453-jeff-parker\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jeff Parker<\/a>\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/artists\/eta-ivtet\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ETA IVtet<\/a>\u2014bassist Anna Butterss, Josh Johnson on keyboards, and Parker himself.<\/p>\n<p>During a sit-down interview with Fallon, Flea, whose first instrument was the trumpet, told the story of meeting legendary jazz trumpeter Dizzy Gillespie as a kid. He also discussed the impetus behind Honora: \u201cA few years ago I decided \u2018I\u2019m just gonna play trumpet every day, no matter what, and after a couple years of doing it I\u2019m gonna make a record, and whatever comes comes.\u2019\u201d Watch Flea on Fallon below.<\/p>\n<p>Honora is out this Friday, March 27. In addition to Flea\u2019s \u201cThinkin Bout You\u201d cover, the LP includes the singles \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/news\/flea-announces-debut-solo-album-tour-and-new-song-with-thom-yorke\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Traffic Light<\/a>,\u201d which was co-written with Thom Yorke, and \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/news\/flea-releases-video-for-new-song-a-plea-watch\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">A Plea<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen [Channel Orange] came out, it really blew me away,\u201d Flea previously said in a press statement. \u201cI loved it so much and still do.
