More than three in five income earners support relatives outside their immediate households, reducing disposable income and limiting the ability to build savings or invest.\n    <\/p>\n<p>\n        The burden is most pronounced among middle children, the report found.\n    <\/p>\n<p>\n        The report also introduced a new measure of financial satisfaction, offering insight into how Nigerians perceive their financial wellbeing beyond income and spending.\n    <\/p>\n<p>\n        Despite efforts to budget and save, only a small minority reported feeling secure or confident, underscoring a gap between financial effort and outcomes.\n    <\/p>\n<p>\n        \u201cOn paper, the economy is stabilising\u2026 On the ground, however, the strain hasn\u2019t let up,\u201d the report said.\n    <\/p>\n<p>\n        Where debt exists, it is largely driven by necessity,  including business needs, emergencies and essential spending, rather than discretionary consumption.\n    <\/p>\n<p>\n        Younger Nigerians, particularly Gen Z, are more likely to depend on a single source of income, increasing their vulnerability to economic shocks.\n    <\/p>\n<p>\n        Despite the constraints, the report points to resilience.
