New fans and seasoned Army members, rejoice: BTS is officially back<\/a>.<\/p>\n

After completing their mandatory service in the South Korean military and embarking on a few solo ventures, all seven members of the global K-pop sensation\u2014RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook\u2014have reunited for a new album, an upcoming world tour, a Netflix documentary<\/a>, and more.<\/p>\n

Amid all the excitement, Jin, Jimin, and V stop by Vogue\u2019s kitchen to cook up a delicious dinner for Now Serving, a video series in which celebrities make their favorite dishes.<\/p>\n

In the video, the trio makes janchi-guksu, a Korean noodle soup, and misugaru, a traditional drink made from a grain powder. Jin takes the lead as head chef, while Jimin and V are his sous-chefs. (\u201cJin is the one who cooks more often\u2014and he\u2019s good at cooking,\u201d V explains). Jin chose the dish, as it\u2019s something simple that he often cooks at home.<\/p>\n

First step: They put on gloves to chop the vegetables. Jin shows off his mesmerizing, masterful knife skills. They tell the origin story of the dish, which is known as \u201cbanquet noodles\u201d or \u201cparty noodles.\u201d Jin prepares the seasoning sauce, which he likes on the sweet side. They make different styles of misugaru, sipping and debating the merits of sugar versus honey as sweetener. They also reveal the foods they crave the most while on tour: kimchi stew and pork belly.<\/p>\n

Asked about their new album, Arirang, V says: \u201cIt\u2019s our first full-length album in quite a while. It expresses our intent to mark a change.\u201d<\/p>\n

The fun amps up when the noodles start cooking. Jin shares a trick for telling if the noodles are cooked to perfection: You throw them against a wall. Recognizing the chaotic energy of this method, Jimin says: \u201cBut Jin, are you really gonna make our Army grab hot noodles at home and throw them against the wall?\u201d They try throwing a noodle against a cutting board, only to discover it doesn\u2019t quite work; it does stick, but it\u2019s not fully cooked yet.<\/p>\n

The trio also reflects on how it feels to be back working together as a band. \u201cAt this point in time, what does the word \u2018together\u2019 mean for you, Jin?\u201d V asks.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor me, having worked on solo projects before you guys got back,\u201d Jin replies. \u201cI definitely feel that, as a solo artist, you can\u2019t experience things like this. Yes, being with the members is so much fun. It\u2019s so much fun, I\u2019m happy, and my heart is racing.\u201d<\/p>\n

V tosses the noodles up to cool them, seemingly having an absolute ball (and making a bit of a mess). \u201cIf I was your mom, seriously\u2026 You better clean this up before you leave,\u201d Jimin jokes. \u201cIf I was your mom, it\u2019d be over for you.\u201d All kitchen shenanigans aside, the resulting dish is an Instagram-worthy feast.<\/p>\n
