Being low-key, a bit old-fashioned and without distinguishing features hasn’t stopped this John Simm vehicle, set in and around Brighton, surviving to a sixth season. Episode one is an inessential-ITV-crime-drama crossover, as Grantchester’s Rishi Nair appears as the husband of a woman who has vanished, for reasons not initially clear. Jack Seale

The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer

7.40pm, Channel 4
To watch Celebrity Bake Off is to ease into a state of complete relief, as you realise that the stakes are really, really low. This week, former child star Jojo Siwa admits she’s never baked before, comedian Babátúndé Aléshé provides lashings of humour, and the tray bakes are crumbling. She takes a liking to outgoing Mr Ryder (Laurie Davidson) but snotty Caroline Bingley (Tanya Reynolds) is lurking around too – and planning sabotage by requesting for Mary to sing. Meanwhile, the SO15 team take a crack at Whitlock, their xenophobic prime suspect. Graeme Virtue

The Hunt: Prey vs Predator

9pm, Channel 4

This TV equivalent of The Hunger Games continues. Sadly, unlike the movie trilogy, it’s unlikely to inspire a revolution, but there are nonetheless power games-a-plenty as the predators team up to try to take down a player, alliances splinter, and the power dynamics are flipped on their head. Business as usual, then. Alexi Duggins

Boarders

10pm, BBC Three

Feeling the heat … Boarders. In the penultimate episode of the last ever season, Omar is caught in some lies concerning the art show and his true feelings for Jonny; Femi stands to lose his internship; and Leah’s singular focus rubs everyone up the wrong way. Michael B Jordan, this year’s best actor Oscar winner, is dependably excellent as Adonis “Donny” Creed, and now he’s directing too, with several scenes worthy of both Stallone and Ryan Coogler’s imprimatur. Here Donny faces off against a foe from his hard-knock past (Jonathan Majors), whose challenge brings up issues.
