However, the 24-year-old has admitted that despite bagging almost \u00a3100,000 in prize money, he felt \u201clost\u201d after emerging as the Traitors\u2019 champion. <\/p>\n<p>Clark became the first Traitor to win the reality competition in 2024, in a sensational finale that saw him blindside his Faithful friend Mollie Pearce, and he has since competed on <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/arts-entertainment\/tv\/news\/celebrity-sas-2025-deeney-spearrit-b2793823.html\">Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins<\/a>, appeared on BBC Two\u2019s Pilgrimage and hosts upcoming documentary, Harry Goes To Rome, in which the young Catholic attempts to meet Pope Leo XIV. <\/p>\n<p>Opening up about how his life has changed since winning the show, Clark admitted that he initially struggled with the lack of routine \u2013 having quit his engineer job in the army after six years. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/559139.jpeg\"  loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Harry Clark heads to Rome to meet the Pope in his new BBC documentary\" class=\"sc-1mc30lb-0 ggpMaE inline-gallery-btn\"\/>Harry Clark heads to Rome to meet the Pope in his new BBC documentary (CREDIT LINE:BBC\/CTVC\/Jonny Ashton)<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe first months were a struggle that people didn\u2019t really see because I was lost,\u201d he told The Independent.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe army was all I ever knew since I was 16 so even now it feels like I\u2019m going to go back next week. Having that worry of, \u2018Am I going to be working next week?\u2019 is the scariest thing in the world. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat was the scariest part and that was a change but no one around me has changed, no one treats me any differently, the love that people have for me and the love that I\u2019ve still got for them has got, if anything, stronger.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Clark \u2013 who now focuses on taking up TV and media opportunities \u2013 added that he\u2019s still in a relationship with girlfriend Anna Maynard, who he met before The Traitors, and still lives with his family in Slough.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI could get invited somewhere crazy like the Baftas for example, but then I get a taxi home back to my council house in Slough and I\u2019m just Harry again who has to fight his brothers and sisters for the toilet and then sit on the PlayStation with my mates. This is why I say I keep getting lucky through life, but I put it down to my faith because I just try and be the best version of myself and I just pray for a clear mind and God worked through me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While appearing on BBC Breakfast shortly afterThe Traitors, Clark met ex-Manchester United player Gary Neville in the green room and the pair exchanged numbers. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cMe and my dad are massive Chelsea fans so every time we heard Gary Neville, we went, \u2018Get this geezer off our TV.\u2019 He was lovely,\u201d Clark said. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe told me that he was just worried that I\u2019d be taken advantage of in the sense of my contract so he put his number in my phone and I took him up on his offer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor the next two weeks he went back and forth, took control of my contract that was sent through my management and he never asked for a penny. All he asked for was a birthday message for his daughter\u2019s 14th birthday and that was it. It\u2019s just mad that I\u2019m in the position I am now because of that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As for whether they\u2019re still in touch, Clark added: \u201cSometimes I\u2019ll message him about how badly Manchester United are doing!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The reality star, who is Catholic, reconnects with his faith in his new BBC One documentary \u2013 which follows him as he heads on his own spiritual quest to meet Pope Leo XIV. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/1b4d0f3fb65f7013f48c470e3d21ba19Y29udGVudHNlYXJjaGFwaSwxNzY5NzcyMjY2-2.82771204.jpg\"  loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Harry Clark was helped out by Gary Neville after winning \u2018The Traitors\u2019\" class=\"sc-1mc30lb-0 ggpMaE inline-gallery-btn\"\/>Harry Clark was helped out by Gary Neville after winning \u2018The Traitors\u2019 (PA Wire)<\/p>\n<p>While Clark has been religious since childhood, he revealed that his faith was \u201ctested\u201d while in the army. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI like suffered massively in the army with my mental health, and I felt like I\u2019d used up all my resources,\u201d he said. \u201cIt wasn\u2019t until I went to my mum and said that, and she was like, \u2018What&#8217;s the one thing you know how to do?\u2019 She just told me to pray.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added that his faith \u201ctook a backseat\u201d after winning The Traitors . \u201cI was still a Catholic and I still believed in God but it just took a backseat because life was crazy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said that going on Pilgrimage last year was \u201cthe cloth that wiped the lens\u201d.
