Elsewhere, Apple TV is on deck to kick off the second season of one of its biggest recent scripted debuts and Hulu has a stoner comedy on the way that promises to make you laugh (and bend your mind a bit).<\/p>\n

Here are the eight best new movies and shows you can stream this weekend.<\/p>\n

Amazon\u2019s Prime Video<\/a> unveiled on Monday \u201cRory McIlroy: The Masters Wait,\u201d a new, feature-length documentary from director Drea Cooper. The sports doc centers on its eponymous, famous professional golfer and, specifically, his years-long struggle with the Augusta National golf course, where the Masters Tournament takes place.<\/p>\n

In 2025, after years of longing for it, McIlroy finally conquered the course and won his first Masters in one of the most well-known and iconic professional sports moments of the past decade. It has been well over three months since director James Cameron\u2019s mega sci-fi blockbuster \u201cAvatar: Fire and Ash\u201d<\/a> was released in movie theaters in late December. The film finally arrived on the video-on-demand market this week, though, meaning you now have the chance to buy and rent it in the comfort of your own home. Cameron\u2019s third \u201cAvatar\u201d film, \u201cFire and Ash,\u201d charts a war between its lead heroes and the combined threat of the franchise\u2019s human RDA soldiers and a tribe of ruthless, warmongering Na\u2019vi.<\/p>\n

It is, like 2022\u2019s \u201cAvatar: The Way of Water,\u201d a 3+ hour, epic expansion of the \u201cAvatar\u201d franchise, and if you are a fan of the series who just so happened to miss its theatrical release, you will no doubt want to rent or buy \u201cFire and Ash\u201d this week.<\/p>\n

Writer-director Emerald Fennell\u2019s technicolor, lavishly mounted adaptation of Emily Bront\u00eb\u2019s \u201cWuthering Heights\u201d<\/a> remains the most divisive film of the year so far. A reinterpretation of Bront\u00eb\u2019s original novel that takes massive creative liberties with its source material, Fennell\u2019s \u201cWuthering Heights\u201d tells the familiar story of the all-consuming, toxic and years-spanning relationship between Catherine Earnshaw (Margot Robbie) and Heathcliff (Jacob Elordi) with a few, distinctly Fennell twists.<\/p>\n

Netflix dropped Wednesday the entire fourth season of the U.S. edition of \u201cLove on the Spectrum,\u201d<\/a> giving subscribers the chance to watch an assortment of both new and familiar autistic cast members as they attempt to find love.<\/p>\n

Viewers have flocked over the years to \u201cLove on the Spectrum\u201d for its good-spirited nature and profound open-heartedness, and it does not look like the show\u2019s fourth season will deviate from that formula, which has consistently proven to be a winning one for it up to this point.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Bad Guys: The Series\u201d Season 2 (Netflix)<\/p>\n

The \u201cBad Guys\u201d movies<\/a> have brought stylish, lighthearted crime fun and endearing charm to the big screen, and the same is true for their bluntly titled spin-off show, \u201cThe Bad Guys: The Series.\u201d A prequel to the first \u201cBad Guys\u201d movie, the animated show released its debut season on Netflix in November of last year.<\/p>\n

Just a few months later, the second season of \u201cThe Bad Guys: The Series\u201d premiered Thursday on Netflix. The new season promises, like its first, to offer the same breezy, visually striking genre fun as its parent films. \u201cBad Guys\u201d fans should, in other words, add the series\u2019 sophomore run to their watchlists this weekend.<\/p>\n

\u201cLove on the Spectrum\u201d is not the only good-vibes Netflix romance that has made its return this week. \u201cXO, Kitty,\u201d<\/a> the streamer\u2019s TV spin-off of its \u201cTo All the Boys I\u2019ve Loved Before\u201d movies, rolled out its third season Thursday. Executive produced and showrun by \u201cTo All the Boys\u201d author Jenny Han, the new season catches back up with lead Kitty (Anna Cathcart) as her plan for her final year of school is complicated by some unexpected twists in her personal life and her undefined relationship with Min-ho (Sang Heon Lee).<\/p>\n

There is no point in pitching \u201cXO, Kitty\u201d beyond that. You likely know at this point whether or not you like its brand of melodrama and angsty romance, and if you do, making some time for \u201cXO, Kitty\u201d Season 3 this weekend just makes sense.<\/p>\n

\"\u201cPizza\u201cPizza Movie\u201d (Disney\/Brett Roedel)<\/p>\n

\u201cPizza Movie,\u201d the new film from internet sketch comedy duo Brian McElhaney and Nick Kocher, is an absurdist, zany stoner comedy about two outcast college roommates (\u201cStranger Things\u201d star Gaten Matarazzo and \u201cThe Goldbergs\u201d star Sean Giambrone) who take a mind-blowing new drug only to realize too late that the only way to counteract its terrifying, hallucinogenic effects is to eat a pizza. Reality-altering hijinks ensue, including some absurd homages to horror movies like \u201cA Nightmare on Elm Street\u201d and \u201cScanners.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to its two leads, the movie\u2019s cast includes Lulu Wilson, Caleb Hearon, \u201cSNL\u201d star Sarah Sherman and Daniel Radcliffe. The film got mostly positive reviews following its SXSW world premiere in March, and you\u2019ll get the chance to discover all of its surprises yourself when it premieres Friday exclusively on Hulu<\/a>.<\/p>\n

One of Apple\u2019s biggest TV hits of 2025, \u201cYour Friends & Neighbors,\u201d is set to release the first episode of its second season this Friday. Creator Jonathan Tropper\u2019s addictive, watchable dark comedy crime drama picks back up with Jon Hamm\u2019s fired hedge fund manager-turned-amateur thief as his new life of robbing his affluent neighbors\u2019 houses is disrupted by the arrival of an enigmatic new millionaire (played by James Marsden). <\/p>\n

In its first season, \u201cYour Friends & Neighbors\u201d made a mark by combining scathing social commentary with some universal themes and darkly comic, crime-fueled comedy, and it does not look like that entertaining cocktail is going to dissipate or be replaced in the show\u2019s second season.
