Located in Andover, Massachusetts, the Addison Gallery of American Art<\/a> acts as the fictional Cambridge Art Museum in The Drama, where Robert Pattinson\u2019s character, Charlie Thompson, is a director. The real-life museum was established in 1931 with a founding collection that featured works by John Singer Sargent, James McNeill Whistler, and Thomas Eakins, among others. Since then, the museum has added more works to its collection, including pieces by Alexander Calder, Jackson Pollock, Georgia O\u2019Keeffe, and Edward Hopper. There are now over 22,000 works in the gallery\u2019s collection, ranging from paintings, drawings, and prints to sculpture, decorative arts, and photography.<\/p>\n

The Drama wouldn\u2019t be complete without an eye-catching wedding venue, and the Mansion on Turner Hill<\/a> in Ipswich, Massachusetts, plays that role perfectly. Situated on 300 acres, the estate features an Elizabethan mansion built in 1903 and complete with oak hardwood floors, hand-molded plaster ceilings, evocative wall friezes, and hand-carved paneling, stairways, and doors. And it\u2019s been the venue for plenty of real-life weddings.<\/p>\n

43 Union Park in Boston, Massachusetts acts as the fictional apartment of Robert Pattinson and Zendaya\u2019s characters. The circa-1850 condo includes approximately six units, most of which have three bedrooms. Zillow’s estimates<\/a> for these units range from $2.146 million to $4 million.<\/p>\n

The Drama also filmed at a variety of other spots around Boston and Cambridge, including Tatte Bakery & Cafe, a coffee shop on Clarendon Street in Boston; Cafe Bonjour, also in Boston; Andy\u2019s Diner, in Cambridge; a Cambridge dance school called Dance Complex, where Emma and Charlie practice their first dance; Other Tomorrows, a Boston design agency that acts as a photo studio in the film; a WeWork office, which portrays an ad agency, located on Arch Street in Boston; Boston Architectural College, which acts as the fictional Mission Publishing, Emma\u2019s employer; Eastern Standard Kitchen and Drinks in Boston; Seven Stars bookstore in Cambridge; and a wine bar in Cambridge called Dear Annie, which the production turned into a flower shop. The Boston Public Garden, Longfellow Bridge, and various streets, including 90 Beacon Street, Commonwealth Avenue, and Dartmouth Street, also make appearances in the film.<\/p>\n
