The tour has officially ended for “The Runarounds”:\u00a0Prime Video has canceled the teen rock band drama after a single season, Deadline<\/a> reports. (TVLine has reached out to Prime Video for confirmation.)\u00a0<\/p>\n

“The Runarounds”\u00a0centered on the titular band, formed by a tight-knight group of high school graduates in Wilmington, North Carolina. “Over the course of one unforgettable summer, they throw themselves into the pursuit of their big break \u2014 falling in love, getting into trouble, and building the kind of bonds that feel like family along the way,”\u00a0per the official description.<\/p>\n

Real-life musicians\u00a0William Lipton, Axel Ellis, Jeremy Yun, Zend\u00e9 Murdock, and Jesse Golliher starred as the titular band, with Lilah Pate as Sophia, the object of lead singer Charlie’s affections. Jonas Pate (“Outer Banks”) served as series creator.<\/p>\n
