Bangladesh Bank has announced revised office hours for all banks and non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs) as part of the government’s austerity and energy-saving measures to address the ongoing energy crisis triggered by the Middle East conflict.<\/p>\n

According to two separate notifications issued by Bangladesh Bank today (4 April), from tomorrow until further notice, all banks and financial institutions\u00a0will be open from 10am to 5pm, while bank transactions will be conducted between 10am and 3pm.<\/p>\n

Bank branches, sub-branches, and booths located in seaport and airport areas, including port and customs zones, will remain open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, as per DOS Circular Letter No 24 issued on 5 August 2019.<\/p>\n
