Queen Camilla arrived bright and early at Windsor Castle<\/a> in her Sunday best for Easter, which included what appeared to be the Raspberry Pip Brooch, pinned to a bright red wool crepe dress by Fiona Clare, which she wore with a matching hat by Philip Treacy and a black calfskin leather tote by Dior<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Queen has worn this particular cross-shaped brooch on a few occasions before, including at Royal Ascot last year<\/a> as well as for a visit to Canterbury a few months prior. She was first seen wearing it publicly on Christmas Day 2023<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to the Crown Chronicles<\/a>, the name \u201cmay have been inspired by its shape, which some observers liken to the delicate structure of a raspberry seed.\u201d The topaz and diamond jewel\u2019s origins can be traced back to 1881 when it was presented as a wedding gift to Cecilia Nina Bowes-Lyon, Countess of Strathmore and Kinghorne. Eventually it made its way into the Royal Collection through the Queen Mother, who passed it onto Queen Elizabeth.<\/p>\n

While she often borrows fine jewelry such as necklaces and earrings from the Royal Collection, Queen Camilla debuted a new mystery brooch<\/a> at Maundy Thursday services<\/a> a few days ago. The sapphire and diamond bauble designed in the shape of a crown was speculated<\/a> to be a gift from King Charles in honor of their 21st wedding anniversary this month<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On Sunday morning, the King and Queen arrived<\/a> at St. George\u2019s Chapel in the Bentley State Limousine. There, they were met by Princess Anne<\/a> and her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence; Prince Edward and his son, James, Earl of Wessex<\/a>; Princess Margaret\u2019s daughter, Lady Sarah Chatto<\/a>; the Prince and Princess of Wales<\/a>, along with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis<\/a>; and Peter Phillips and his fianc\u00e9e Harriet Sperling<\/a> and their daughters.<\/p>\n
