\n Salisbury-based Abicare will roll out the new division across the South West of England and South Wales next month, before expanding nationally.\n<\/p>\n
\n The service will support recently discharged patients who require complex care but prefer to recover at home.\n<\/p>\n
\n Rebecca Williams has been appointed clinical lead for the division. Reporting to chief commercial officer Steve Carter, she will oversee the delivery of hospital-level care in patients\u2019 homes.\n<\/p>\n
\n Ms Williams said: “Nursing and healthcare are in my bones; it is who I am.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Supporting patients, whether in hospital, at home or within the community is a privilege and I find it both meaningful and incredibly rewarding.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Hospital@Home combines everything that I care about; high quality clinical care, patient-centred practice, innovation and the chance to make a real difference, both to individuals and also the NHS, and I\u2019m excited to be part of shaping this forward-thinking new service.”\n<\/p>\n
\n With two decades of experience in healthcare, Ms Williams has held roles in occupational health, clinical leadership, and nursing.\n<\/p>\n
\n She has managed occupational health services and led the rollout of a mental health app that has since become a national example of best practice.\n<\/p>\n
\n Despite her leadership roles, Ms Williams remains committed to hands-on nursing, particularly for patients with complex needs or at the end of life.\n<\/p>\n
\n She will also help shape the division\u2019s long-term direction and support its business growth.\n<\/p>\n
\n Mr Carter welcomed her appointment and the upcoming launch of the service.\n<\/p>\n

\n The Hospital@Home service will begin in the South West and South Wales before rolling out across the UK.\n<\/p>\n
\n Abicare is a long-established provider of home care services, and its new offering aims to reduce pressure on hospitals by providing hospital-standard complex care to recently discharged patients in their own homes.\n<\/p>\n
\n The company says it is in the final stages of preparation and is committed to maintaining high clinical standards and strong governance as it scales the service.\n<\/p>\n
