{"id":377957,"date":"2026-04-06T14:06:07","date_gmt":"2026-04-06T14:06:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/377957\/"},"modified":"2026-04-06T14:06:07","modified_gmt":"2026-04-06T14:06:07","slug":"oracle-names-schneider-electrics-maxson-as-cfo-amid-soaring-ai-spending","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/377957\/","title":{"rendered":"Oracle names Schneider Electric&#8217;s Maxson as CFO amid soaring AI spending"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Oracle headquarters in Austin, Texas, on April 24, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Brandon Bell | Getty Images<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/ORCL\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Oracle<\/a> on Monday appointed Hilary Maxson as chief financial officer, \u2060tapping an executive with experience in infrastructure and energy \u200bto steer \u200bits efforts to \u200bmeet surging demand for artificial intelligence and cloud services.<\/p>\n<p>The appointment comes as the \u2060technology \u200ccompany has been taking on a \u2060heavy debt load to fuel its massive AI infrastructure spending.<\/p>\n<p>Maxson, whose appointment is effective immediately, had served \u200cas group CFO at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/SU-FR\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Schneider Electric<\/a>, an energy management and automation \u200bcompany with over $45 billion in annual revenue, Oracle said.<\/p>\n<p>Maxson said she aimed to ensure continued disciplined investment for \u2060creating lasting value for both customers and shareholders.<\/p>\n<p>Doug \u200cKehring, who served as \u200cOracle&#8217;s Principal Financial Officer for the past six months, will step down following the new appointment \u2060and will return to focusing on \u2060the company&#8217;s go-to-market operations.<\/p>\n<p>Maxson, 48, will \u2060receive an annual base salary of $950,000 and will be eligible for a \u200bperformance-based bonus \u200cwith a target of $2.5 million, Oracle said in a regulatory filing.<\/p>\n<p>Shares of the company were up 0.4% in premarket trading.
