Interview<\/a> magazine \u2014 noting how different she is from Phoebe in real life.<\/p>\n\u201cAt first, Phoebe was very, very far from me,\u201d she shared. \u201cIt took a lot of work to justify the things she would say and do. Not in an irritating way \u2014 it was fun.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cOver the course of 10 years, a little bit of her came into me,\u201d she continued, \u201cI lightened up a little more and read some books on spirituality and things, just to try to understand her.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kudrow insisted Phoebe was not a \u201cditzy\u201d character, which some people perceived her as.<\/p>\n
\u201cAt the time, it was like, \u2018She\u2019s such a ditz. How is it that you only play ditzes?\u2019 And I thought, Is she a ditz? To me, she wasn\u2019t.\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn 1994, it was like, \u2018I love her. She\u2019s such a ditz.\u2019 And it\u2019s like, yeah, okay, that was what a ditz was to us. Someone who wasn\u2019t towing the line.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kudrow, 62, has been promoting the third and final season of The Comeback, and she recently got real about ageing in Hollywood.<\/p>\n
The actress told the Hollywood Reporter she didn\u2019t try Botox until she was 60, but she was \u201cprobably done with it.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI am scared of having to see myself looking like my grandmother one day, but I\u2019m excited to play older roles,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n
