\n\tThree new cast members have joined Paramount Pictures<\/a> and Hybe America<\/a>\u2019s untitled K-pop movie, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned. <\/p>\n

\n\tYoo Ji-tae (Money Heist), Tony Revolori (Spider-Man: No Way Home) and Gia Kim (XO, Kitty) have signed onto the Benson Lee-directed film, which features a script from Eileen Shim. They join previously announced stars Ji-young Yoo (KPop Demon Hunters) and Eric Nam (The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender). <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThis film is my love letter to K-pop \u2013 its energy, passion, magic and the incredible community behind it,\u201d Lee previously said in statement<\/a>. Lee\u2019s untitled film, set in the world of K-pop music<\/a> survival shows, is expected to be the first major American studio film shot entirely in South Korea. \u201cThe film centers around a young\u00a0Korean-American\u00a0woman, who defies her family\u2019s wishes to compete in a televised competition to find the next K-pop\u00a0girl\u00a0group,\u201d the logline reads.<\/p>\n

\n\tHybe America\u2019s president of film and TV James Shin is producing the film alongside Arthur Spector and Joshua Davis of Epic Magazine and Scooter Braun. Executive producers include Joshuah Bearman of Epic Magazine, John Zaozirny and Scott Manson. Paramount\u2019s Bryan Oh will oversee production on behalf of the studio. <\/p>\n

\n\tHybe America is the U.S. branch of K-pop giant Hybe, which acts as the parent companies to several labels that house massive acts including BTS, Seventeen, Le Sserafim and Enhypen.<\/p>\n

\n\tYoo is represented by MS Team Entertainment. Revolori is represented by Verve and Circle Management and Production.
