<\/p>\n\n\tFashion may have the Fendis and the Furstenbergs, but in the wedding industry, the Di Santos are the mother-daughter duo du jour. Now Veronica, daughter of Ines, is stepping out of her mother\u2019s shadow to shine a spotlight on V, a new diffusion line launching for spring 2027.<\/p>\n
\n\tWhile she practically grew up at the Ines Di Santo atelier, Veronica officially joined the company in 1999. Over the years she\u2019s worn every hat imaginable, from shop girl and marketing agent to her most recent role as managing partner and her new one as president from April 1.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe idea for V spawned from Veronica\u2019s desire to reposition what was originally Ines by Ines Di Santo. \u201cWe felt strongly that this collection had its own voice and point of view,\u201d she said. \u201cWith Veronica Di Santo \u2014 or V, as we call it \u2014 we wanted to create something that speaks directly to the modern bride,\u201d someone she describes as \u201ctrend-aware\u201d who \u201cchooses distinctiveness over tradition.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tV will bow on the runway Tuesday evening alongside Ines Di Santo\u2019s mainline, kicking off NYBFW. Playful names define each look, like \u201cThe Moment,\u201d an airy tulle A-line gown with pleated godets, or \u201cThe Forever\u201d with lace embroidery and a thigh-high slit.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tAccording to Veronica, the most important lesson she learned from her mother is that the bride is always right. \u201cShe approaches design by paying close attention to what makes women feel confident and beautiful,\u201d she said. Bringing that philosophy to V, boleros and bodice tops are interchangeable, allowing customization without the bespoke fees.<\/p>\n
