\n The new locations, also in Hammersmith and Fulham and Hounslow, are provided by Hestia, a charity that specialises in mental health crisis support.\n<\/p>\n
\n They are run on behalf of West London NHS Trust.\n<\/p>\n
\n Safe Spaces offer a free, safe and welcoming environment for adults (18-plus) who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious or unable to cope.\n<\/p>\n
\n People can walk in without an appointment or referral and speak with trained staff who offer compassionate, non-judgemental support, and help to connect people with the right services.\n<\/p>\n
\n Open in the evenings, weekends and bank holidays, Safe Spaces provide support at times when many other services are often closed.\n<\/p>\n
\n These Safe Spaces provide a community-based crisis alternative to emergency departments, helping people access support earlier and preventing mental health crises from escalating.\n<\/p>\n
\n Ealing Safe Space is in the Wolsey Wing of St Bernard\u2019s Hospital. 020 3869 2791 \n Open 2-10pm, 365 days a year, including bank holidays.\n<\/p>\n \n Alongside the new Safe Spaces, Hestia has been re-commissioned to deliver \u2018Coves\u2019 across\u00a0Harrow, Hillingdon, Brent, Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea.\n<\/p>\n \n Hestia has provided these services, known locally as \u2018Coves\u2019, since 2020. In the last year, it supported almost 5,000\u00a0residents\u00a0who were struggling with their mental health.\n<\/p>\n
