He further revealed that Pooja was first offered the lead role in Aashiqui but she refused because her then-boyfriend didn\u2019t want her to take it. Later, when she saw a song being shot on Anu Aggarwal, she regretted saying no.He shared, “Pooja Bhatt told me that the first time a film like \u2018Aashiqui\u2019 was offered to her, she had to say no because her boyfriend didn\u2019t want her to be in films.”<\/p>\n

From regret to a new beginning<\/p>\n

He added, “Pooja was brave enough to tell me she didn\u2019t think she was cut out to be an actor, so she said no to Aashiqui. But then she confessed to me that when she came for the shooting of \u2018Aashiqui\u2019 in Ooty, while we were filming with Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal, she said, \u2018When you were picturising those hit songs, I felt envious \u2018Ah, I should have done it!\u2019 And then immediately she jumped in and did \u2018Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin.”Meanwhile, Pooja and Alia came together for Mahesh Bhatt’s Sadak 2.
