Of course, there is plenty for Jutes to look forward to about his upcoming time on the road. The Canadian musician just put out his latest single \u201cDisassociate\u201d March 25, and he\u2019s excited to play it, as well as other music from his last two albums, live when his European tour kicks off May 2. After all, touring is his favorite part of being an artist.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cPeople coming to the show is by far the most important thing to me,\u201d he said. \u201cStreams and numbers on a screen are cool and metrics are cool to see that things are growing, but nothing is going to replace showing up and a bunch of fans being there singing your songs.\u201d<\/p>\n
And in August, he\u2019ll head out again for the North American leg, coined Smile You\u2019re On Tour, which he noted is the \u201cbiggest thing\u201d he\u2019s ever done, and that\u2019s all thanks to his fans.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cI tour out of pocket,\u201d Jutes explained. \u201cFor the fans out there, when they buy tickets to the tour or buy merch, they are funding directly the next tour. And I do everything out of my own pocket when it comes to touring. For me, every time we get to this next level, I take what we made on the last tour and I\u2019m like, \u2018This is what we have to level up this next tour.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
