\n\tLooks like Gabriel may be whisking Emily off to Greece in Season 6 of \u201cEmily in Paris<\/a>.\u201d Darren Star<\/a>\u2019s hit Netflix romantic comedy series is kicking off production in May, with Greece and Monaco set as new glamorous locations for the globe-trotting series, which previously lensed in Rome, Venice, Saint Tropez and Meg\u00e8ve. <\/p>\n

Star will be joined by key cast members Lily Collins<\/a>, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo<\/a>, Lucien Laviscount, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery and Andrew Fleming at PaleyFest LA on Friday ahead of the shoot\u2019s start.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cEmily in Paris\u201d is still going strong on Netflix. Season 5 debuted at No. 2 on the streamer\u2019s Top 10 with 13.5 million views in its first four days, holding that spot the following week with 13.3 million.<\/p>\n

Plot details for Season 6 are under wraps, but the Greek backdrop points to unfinished business between Emily (Collins) and her on-again, off-again love Gabriel (Bravo). In the Season 5 finale, Gabriel sends Emily a postcard inviting her on a Greek getaway, hinting at a possible rekindling.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t imagine the series without Gabriel,\u201d Star told Variety in December,<\/a> when Season 5 held its premiere in Paris. <\/p>\n

Season 5 saw Emily fully embrace her Roman chapter as head of Agence Grateau Rome, diving into a romance with Italian beau Marcello, while Gabriel left his restaurant and took a new chef job on a yacht. <\/p>\n

Star said Gabriel was Emily\u2019s \u201cbig love,\u201d and their scenes together in Season 5 carried \u201ca little nostalgia\u2026 which spoke to the idea that the show has matured.\u201d The depth of their relationship comes from \u201ca past\u2026 with memories and good times and bad times,\u201d noted Star, who received France\u2019s Legion of Honor from French President Emmanuel Macron in December. <\/p>\n

Season 5 was overall also \u201cmore adult, more passionate,\u201d he said. Among its more surprising twists was Mindy (Park) hooking up with Emily\u2019s ex Alfie (Laviscount).<\/p>\n

\u201cEmily in Paris\u201d was created by Star, who executive produces alongside Tony Hernandez, Lilly Burns, Andrew Fleming, Stephen Brown, Alison Brown, Robin Schiff, Grant Sloss and Joe Murphy. Collins also serves as a producer.
