On Sunday, the Milwaukee Bucks<\/a> will be at the Wells Fargo Center to play the Philadelphia 76ers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Bucks are coming off a 125-108 win over the Brooklyn Nets<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Giannis Antetokounmpo<\/a> did not play in the game.<\/p>\n

For Sunday\u2019s season finale, the Bucks have announced that Antetokounmpo will remain out of action.<\/p>\n

Antetokounmpo finished the 2026 regular season with averages of 27.6 points, 9.8 rebounds and 5.4 assists per contest while shooting 62.4% from the field and 33.3% from three-point range in 36 games.<\/p>\n

He has played 13 seasons in the NBA<\/a> (all with Milwaukee).<\/p>\n

The Bucks had a very tough year where they are the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 32-49 record in 81 games.<\/p>\n

They have won three out of their last ten games (and are 13-27 on the road).<\/p>\n

NBA on ESPN wrote (on April 9):<\/a> \u201cWith one more game remaining on their schedule Sunday, Giannis will head into the offseason with one guaranteed year remaining on his contract before a player option in 2027.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Bucks have been unable to make a deep run in the NBA playoffs since winning the title in 2021.<\/p>\n

They will miss the playoffs this year, and have lost in the first round of the playoffs in each of the last two seasons.<\/p>\n
